It is with much pleasure that we announce Point Cook Town Centre Quadrant 4 as the Silver Award Winner of the Design / Development category for Innovative Design of a New Centre at the 2010 International Council of Shopping Centre's Asia convention in Beijing on the 8th November 2010.

At a function held in Beijing on Monday 8th November, ICSC President and CEO, Mr. Michael P. Kersheval, and ICSC Chairperson, Mr William Taubman, presented the 2010 Silver Award to Tony Parks CDP, Director of Architecture HQ.

The ICSC Asia Shopping Centre Awards recognises excellence within the Asia region and honors outstanding achievement in marketing and design/development of retail properties.

International Council of Shopping Centres - CDP Certification

The ICSC CDP Certification is an international certification for excellence. This certification requires the bearer to pass a stringent exam procedure.

Once a candidate passes the exam and receives the prestigious CDP designation, they will be recognised as a professional who posses in-depth experience, skills, knowledge and understanding of development, design, construction and operations of shopping centres and other retail related facilities internationally.

 

Essendon Fields Shopping Centre wins ICSC Asia Silver award
for Innovative Design and Development of a new Centre.

It is with much pleasure that we announce Essendon Fields Shopping Centre as the Silver award winner of the Design / Development category for Innovative Design of a New Centre at the 2009 International Council of Shopping Centre's Asia convention.

In a  function held at the Singapore International  Convention and Exhibition Centre, ICSC President and CEO, Mr. Michael P. Kersheval, and ICSC Chairperson, Peter Sharpe, presented the  2009 Silver Award to Tony Parks CDP, Director of Architecture HQ.

The ICSC Asia Shopping Centre Awards recognises excellence within the regions shopping centre industry and honours outstanding achievement in marketing and design/development of retail properties.

Throughout its history, the International Council of Shopping Centres, Inc (ICSC) has recognized and honoured the shopping centre industry’s most cutting-edge properties, innovative solutions and creative responses to market trends, as well as outstanding examples of design and development throughout the world. As part of the shopping centre industry’s premier awards competition, ICSC is pleased to announce that Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre, Geelong, Australia, received a Gold Award in its inaugural Asia Pacific Shopping Centre Awards competition. ICSC announced the winners of the 2008 ICSC awards during a gala awards ceremony at the ICSC’s Asia Expo, Cotai, Macao.

The Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre received its award in the renovation or expansion of an existing project category. Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre revived its centre by responding to the needs of a rapidly growing community and fine tuned its retail mix to better serve its community. By relying on its strong anchors – Coles, Safeway, Target and Readings Cinema, the centre has positioned itself as the place for future development. Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre is owned by Australia Unity and is managed by Savills.

On Friday 29th August 2008, The Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre was awarded the winner of The Joe Curlewis Trust Award for Excellence at the Australian Property Institute and Architecture HQ's Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre was the winner. This award recognises innovation, financial performance and professionalism in the Australian property trust industry.

We are very proud of the work that has gone into making this centre a success and would like to thank many people for their dedication and hard work on this project. Special thanks must go to Keith Woodhouse - Project Architect and David Girardin - Project Designer and to the team at Australian Unity - Peter Lambden, Kim Butler and Monique Home for their commitment throughout this project.
